Cullen Bullen Public School is a small school located on the Castlereagh Highway 23 km west of Lithgow.
The school was established in 1875 and is central to a number of coal mines and related industries. Cullen Bullen Public School is a well resourced school which is the focal point of the community. The site, playground, classroom and library combine to make a physically beautiful learning environment which is conducive to developing pride, achievement, a work ethic, citizenship and a sense of worth in all who are associated with the school. Many of the playground, library and classroom facilities and resources have been provided in part or in full by the school's Parents and Citizens Association through its outstanding fund raising and working bee efforts.
Students are provided with a comprehensive range of opportunities to participate in inter school and intra school, sporting, cultural and academic events each year.
